Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Bharati Pravin Pawar stated in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha today that the National Medical Commission reports that there are now 485 undergraduate (UG) and 247 postgraduate (PG) medical seats available under the all-India quota.
The minister was responding to an unstarred inquiry about the total number of open UG and PG medical seats for the current academic year, as well as the reasons for those vacancies.
