At COP 28 in the United Arab Emirates, the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) was honored with the esteemed Green University Award. The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in the United States has granted special consultative status to Green Mentors, a non-governmental organization, for this award.
This recognition was given credit at the esteemed CoP 28 platform on a worldwide scale.
