According to the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024, IITs lead the country.

The December 5 release of the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024 lists the University of Delhi (DU) as the most sustainable university in India. The university is ranked 220th in the world.

In terms of overall ranking, The University of Toronto has come in first, with The University of Manchester and the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) coming in second and third.

There isn’t an Indian university within the top 200 this time. IIT Bombay is ranked 303rd in the world after DU, ahead of IIT Madras (344), IIT Kharagpur (349), IIT Roorkee (387), and IIT Delhi (426).
