A train carrying 780 girls full of books and aspirations leaves Jammu on a countrywide study tour.

With its inaugural group of 780 female college students from various regions of the Union Territory, Jammu and Kashmir’s new College on Wheels rolled out of the Katra train station on Sunday. It was the first train ride and time they had left J&K for a number of them.

According to JU Vice-Chancellor Umesh Rai, College on Wheels is a J&K Higher Education Council program that the university is leading. While traveling, the students will do assignments in several fields.
