The government of Tamil Nadu is delaying half-yearly exams; will start on December 13.

The half-yearly exams for state-run and government-aided schools in Tamil Nadu have been formally postponed until December 13. According to an official release, Chief Minister M K Stalin ordered a state-wide postponement of the exams, originally set to start on December 11. A revised schedule has been issued by the School Education Department, moving the exams for classes 6 to 12 from December 13–22.
