108 of the 157 newly authorized medical colleges are now operational. Government

In a written response to the Rajya Sabha today, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar revealed that 157 government medical institutions have been authorized under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) in three phases, of which 108 are currently operational.
